Whoop Whoop!

It's the end of my month of running again. I go from the 7th to the 6th of each month because I started running like a mad-woman on the 7th of September. So, here is my updated total: This last month I ran 58 miles for an average of 2 miles per day. :) Wooo hoo! I ran 5 miles at a time several times. :) Crazy. And then here is the really crazy stuff: I have ran 121 miles in the past 3 months! NUTS! Eric said yesterday, "why don't you just run to Utah!?!" :) I have now lost 19 lbs total. I only lost a few more this month, but that's okay, I had a delicious Thanksgiving weekend! :) I am getting better and faster and can run farther, but I am too A.D.D. for that and start getting bored, so we'll see. :) I am running on a treadmill because I run while Joshy is sleeping. I watch the Price is Right a lot while I run becuase it doesn't require any sound to figure out what is going on and I can listen to my mp3 player while I watch it. I am aspiring to be one of Drew's Beauties some day... ha ha! :)

A couple other exciting updates! :) Eric's wrestling team is almost done and they won the League title on Friday and then Saturday they worked super hard and dominated at the Clark County Wrestling Tourney (third year in a row). :) So.... now they have one more tournament this Saturday which will be Districts, and in theory they should completely dominate again, but in the past this tournament has proved to be a challenge as it is at the end of the season and kids get sick, injured, or in trouble. So... we are keeping our fingers crossed that he can take all three titles! :) Woo hoo! Way to go Eric!

Marky was super easy to potty train. He is doing so well! He tells us for both #1 and #2 and even wakes up dry most of the time in the mornings (in diaper at night, of course). Good job Mr. Marky!

Joshua was up this morning fussy as ever and I felt in his mouth and he finally cut his two top molars at the same time! Ugh! Still have the bottoms ones to go, so wish us luck! :) Poor little guy.

Ryan's growing like a weed and growing out of all his pants! Finally, we are glad to see he is growing! :) He doesn't eat much and we keep telling him he has to eat if he wants to get big! :)

Kellie and Ryan are both doing soccer again and having a great time and getting so much better! Ryan is a little star player... he really gets in there and plays hard!

Funny things they say: Kellie and I were driving the other day and we saw a truck with some suede couches in the back. You could see the hand prints where people had been touching it to load it up or whatever because it's suede. She said, "I don't like those kinds of couches, you know, the fingerprint kind." I responded, "you mean suede?" She replied, "yes, I don't like that kind. I only like the regular kind of couch, you know, the regular leather kind." I had to laugh because our poor kids don't even remember having basic cloth couches! Oh dear---- look out future husband of Kellie's, you better have a good job! :)

As we like to say in our house: The Holidays are here, it's time for a cheer! (just kiding, that is the first line of Kellie's holiday cheer from her cheerleading class (last year) and it is permanently engraved on our brains. Ugh! Forever.) :)

Wrestling Season is underway!

Well, Eric's team won yesterday, but he wasn't that excited about the win. The Camas coach only sent over 5 Varsity kids to wrestle and told Eric that he "didn't feel comfortable putting 1st year kids up against Eric's kids." What a pooper! Sooo... that mean't that only 5 of Eric's varsity kids actually got to wrestle and the rest just won because the other coach was too much of a weeny to let his kids actually wrestle. :) Not the win that Eric likes to have, but he'll take it. He'd rather actually earn the win, but it stinks when other coaches see Eric's team as a threat and take the easy road out. Good job anyways, Honey! :) Eric is an awesome coach. :)

The girls sang the National Anthem again to start off the match, only this time they were joined by Kaylia, too! :) Here is the video... super cute! Kyra and Kellie have been pleasing the crowds since they were 3! Way to go girlies! :)

What a day!

Okay, so... had a sad little sicky baby in my bed at 6:00am this morning. Alarm went off at 6:45. Up with Kellie getting her ready for school. Took Kellie to school at 8:00. Then I stayed at school (I am the co-chair of the bookfair) and I worked on bookfair stuff for hour while boys fought/played and destroyed. Then at 9:00 was Kellie's Veteran's day assembly where she was singing "Our Country Tis of Thee" so we went and watched that for a half hour until the boys started making too much noise! It was so emotional for me, they had everyone in the audience stand up that was a Veteran and there was even a Pearl Harbor Survivor there.... and an Army widow from WWII, it was just emotional for me. I can't imagine.... I am so thankful for military people and their families, I couldn't do it. Anyway, then we skipped out on the rest of that and went back to the Booster room to work on bookfair for another half hour. Then off we went with all three boys in tow back home to get them fed and then ready for preschool. Boys were eating lunch and Joshua went down for a nap. I went and ran 3 miles cuting 3:15 off my time (I was in hurry) and then showered. In the meantime, apparently the boys got in to a fight in the hallway over whose chocolate milk it was and the milk ended up all over the tan carpet and white walls.... lovely. Gotta love 'em! One thing about it, my boys "encourage and inspire" me to clean all the time! Got Joshua up from his nap early, and he was none too happy about it, and then off we went again in the car to drop Ryan off at school. Back home to steam-clean the hallway and then I ended up doing the living room while I was at it. Then I put the boys down for a nap (AT THE SAME TIME... HOORAY!) and then I swept/mopped kitchen and dining areas. And to think... it's only 1:40 in the afternoon. YIKES!

Little People R Spooky

What a fun month! WOW, so busy! Ryan's birthday... soccer 4 nights a week... halloween halloween halloween. Seems like the halloween parties go on and on, but at least we get good use out of these costumes! The kids had so much fun at all the festivities in downtown Washougal, Camas, the church party, the school halloween parades and parties, the school harvest carnival, and of course, Trick-or-Treating. WOW. I am tried just remembering all of those events! On to November, where hopefully it will slow down a bit! :)

HOORAY for me! This is the month mark again and this month I ran 32 miles and lost 6 more pounds. (total now lost since September 26th = 16lbs.) Woo hoo.... getting so much closer to my goal and I am really loving the running. Besides probably making myself deaf, it feels soooo good to run. I sure have missed it. I love veggin' out to my loud music and being able to escape all the worries and have some time to just be by myself while I run run run! :) I'll check in again next month and let you know. **Posting this keeps me accountable! :) Oh, and a bonus for Eric, ever since I started running he's lost 15 + lbs. What a deal... I work out, he loses. Sounds like a great deal to me, lucky bum.

Kellie's Fall Soccer Team Photo! :) What a fun time we all had. She learned so much and really loves it! It gets every bit of extra energy out of them, too! :) They sleep so good on soccer days! :) Winter season.... here we come! And ERIC is going to be her coach this next season! :)

Ryan's soccer team rocked! These little guys know how to rock a soccer field! Watch out for some of them.... man, they are good, Ryan being one of them! :) What a fun time we had coaching these guys and look forward to Winter Season as well. Daddy will be coaching again. :)

Pumpkin Decorating! We have potato-head decorations for our pumpkins. They last weeks longer than carved pumpkins AND it is not messy at all! (I know, we are cheaters... but we gave them the choice!)

Eric is officially the chicken-man again. Not only do we have the 6 laying hens and 1 duck, but he received his shipment of baby meat chickens a few weeks back. He ordered 25 of them. We have lost only a few and they are getting big. Hungry, anyone? He moved all the chickens up to the shop and now the chickens have the CASTLE of chicken coops. It is so nice in there and he has it all seperated out with straw bales, and has warmer lights, and nesting boxes and hay down. It is fancy. Spoiled chickens! **I think he is getting these ideas from FarmVille on Facebook! :) Ha haa :)
